Busy day for Gales Ferry

The Gales Ferry department had a busy afternoon. We responded to a two car mva at the corner of Long Cove road and Rt.12. While on scene there units were called to a gasoline spill at the local Henny Penny. Gales Ferry engine R-21 to take up from the mva to respond to the spill. While working the spill the mva was cleaned up and the rescue responded to the fuel spill. Found about 2 cups of gasoline that had leaked from the car onto the ground. Gales Ferry units were then dispatched to a water emergency. Gales Ferry units all returned to the fire house for about ten minutes before being dispatched for a medical alarm at the senior house complex.
