2nd Alarm Fire Niantic 3/5/07
On 3/5/07 the Niantic and Flanders departments were dispatched to a structure fire on South Washington Ave. First arriving units on scene started the second alarm due to the large amount of fire. The house was total loss with some fire and smoke damage to the house on the B side.
Two people were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
